OLEN
Ancient Greek: Ὠλήν
Ancient Greek poet known from Pausanias and Herodotus. He is considered the inventor of hexameter and the founder of the temple of Apollo at Delphi. Ὠλήν is said to have brought the cult of Apollo to Delos, the sacred island associated with the God’s birth. Some traditions even suggest that he was the first priest or poet to celebrate the gods in verse.
Olen represents the intersection of myth, poetry, and religion in ancient Greece.

Olen was born from a deep-rooted love for Syros and a desire to share its most authentic essence with those who seek something more than just a getaway. We envisioned a place where time slows, where the sound of the Aegean whispers through the air, and where every sunrise feels like a moment of renewal. Positioned on a cliff and surrounded by earthy landscapes, Olen invites guests to embrace the luxury of doing nothing.
